Soft IPM - 2 oz

Exclusively on MakeUpMania - Rogue Planet FX - “Soft” Isopropyl Miristate.

IPM is the base of many cosmetics and is an excellent remover for adhesives and pax paints. (Pros-aide and prosthetics adhesives.)

Our IPM has aloe in it that tints it a bit blue - making it a little nicer on the skin than regular IPM. (It makes the piece flow off easier too!) And the little blue tint is a great way to tell what’s IPM and what’s alcohol.

Many Hollywood Artists use 99% alcohol for the removal of appliances so they can save the foam latex pieces to be used later. (The IPM makes the prothetic appliances to slick to glue down again.) Then they use IPM to remove the residue adhesive and pax paints on the skin. If you use this technique - you do NOT want to mix up your IPM and Alcohol and our special coloring is perfect for that!!!!

Remember - if you want to save your foam latex piece for later use - use 99% alcohol. If it’s piece you will not use again - use our Soft IPM.
