Product Description

Accu-Cast - LS-680

Green in color.
Accu-Cast is by far the most superior industry standard alginate available. The LS stands for Low Shrinkage. Thixotropic formulas have excellent working properties and produce extremely detailed molds with high tear strength. 680 stands for 6 minutes of working time at 80 degrees F water temp. (cooling the water slows down setting time) Ideal for larger projects, like head & body molds that require a longer working time. Warm water makes the process comfortable.

Accu-Cast - IBG

Orange in color, light orange flavor
90°F recommended water temperature mix (26°C). Approximately 5 minute set using 90°F water (cooler water will retard set, see graph). Ultra smooth mix, hard cast surface. Medium mix is best for most projects. Will set hard and strong, with good tear strength. Ideal for medium-sized lifecasting projects like faces, heads, and torsos.

Accu-Cast - 880

Light Blue in color.
80°F recommended water temperature mix (26°C). Approximately 8 minute set using 80°F water (cooler water will retard set, see graph). Slightly lumpy mix (anti-slump formula). Smooth model surface. Medium mix is best for most projects. Will set hard and strong, with good tear strength. Ideal for very large lifecasting projects like large props and body parts. Also ideal for use in hot environments where other alginates set too quickly. Also best for individuals just starting out.

Accu-Cast - 390-S2

Yellow in color.
Produce extremely detailed molds with high tear strength. 390 stands for 3 minutes of working time at 90 degrees F water temp. (cooling the water slows down setting time) Ideal for small fast molds, like hands and feet. LS-680 has a much higher elasticity then the LS-680 so it wont tear when you pull your hand or foot out of the mold. you don’t need to use plaster to reinforce it, just full up a large enough can, stick your hand in it and wait for it to cure.
