Packages over 3lbs are subject to an Overweight Charge. This charge is calculated on actual weight and destination, we do not mark up shipping prices. We will contact you if your packages weighs over 3lbs and let you know what the charges will be and you can decide to proceed at that point.  Packages that contain Flammable items and are over 13 oz must be shipped UPS. We will calculate the price of UPS shipping and let you know what the charges will be and you can decide to proceed at that point.

MakeUpMania Palette and Pan orders may take longer to process due to the customization of each. We try to have all Palette and Pan orders leave our warehouse within 5 business days. Please let us know if you need to receive your order by a deadline so that we can work out an accomadation for you. International shipments via the US Post Office do vary by country.

Return Policy

If you receive your order and there is a problem with the order, you must report the issue within 72 hours. Please note: if there is a problem – do not open or use the item until the problem is resolved. Thank you!

All returns must be authorized by MakeUpMania, Inc. Returns may not be used, opened or damaged. Some items such as wigs and custom orders are not refundable. Due to the specialized quality of many of our products, many of our makeup products and supplies are not returnable.

If you would like to test a product first - many times samples are available - e-mail or call us - we are happy to help to find the right product for your needs!!!

Please be aware, there may be a 5% restocking fee, for special orders, custom orders or rush orders.

Unless we have mis-shipped or made a mistake in the order - shipping fees are not refundable.

Refused/Returned Pacakges

Please be aware that if we ship your package and it is refused by you or if you have entered your address incorrectly and it is returned to us - shipping charges will not be refunded.

Lost Packages

If you believe your package was lost in the mail, please contact us right away. Many times the package is returned to us fairly quickly. Our policy is to wait one week from the intended delivery date to see if the package is returned to us. Then we can re-ship your order. If you live in an apartment complex - please check with the building manager or office, often we have found the package has ended up there. Packages that are marked as Delivered by the USPS cannot be refunded or reshipped. Please make sure your address is correct and also SAFE. If you feel your package may be at risk of theft or tampering, please ask for Delivery Confirmation.

International Customers

  • You are responsible for all custom charges.
  • We will not change the price of what you bought on any customs forms.
  • If we ship a package and it is lost - we will not be able to refund you or re-ship your package. Please know the reliability of your local postal system or ask us to upgrade to a guaranteed provider.

MakeUpMania, Inc. does not pay any custom charges. Please check with your local authorities or post office about any custom charges you may incur with incoming shipments from the US. Custom charges vary from country to country, it is best if you find out before you buy.

Global Express Guaranteed® (GXG) can arrive in 1-3 days. An example price to the UK for 1lb package containing something like our Palette Lab palettes is quoted at $85.40. The same package to Australia - $91.45

Since all Global Express Guaranteed® (GXG) packages must be hand delivered to the post office, we must make early in the day arrangements to get them out - but would be happy to do this if time is of the essence.

Please note: We have seen International First Class packages take anywhere from 2 -4 weeks to most countries - with most packages arriving in 2 weeks. We have had packages to some countries take up to 6 weeks. If you have a deadline it would be better to upgrade to Priority or Express, since the tracking information on these services is much better. The only International shipping that is guaranteed is Global Express Guaranteed® (GXG).

Orders Shipped to France


Because of the length of time it takes for a USPS International First Class package to be recieved in FRANCE, we now require ALL packages being shipped to FRANCE to be shipped USPS International Priority. We no can longer ship USPS First Class to FRANCE because it takes too long for the package to arrive and then in turn to be considered lost or to be returned to us. Thank you for your understanding with this issue.

Ben Nye and Grey Market Sales

Ben Nye has requested that we are diligent in not selling any Ben Nye products to anyone who is reselling their products without being an Authorized Ben Nye Dealer. Not only does Grey Market Sales hurt the reputation of the manufacturer, but it is not good for the consumer either. Grey Market makeup products could be sold by someone who is storing or treating makeup products in an unsafe or unsanitary way.

We have agreed to Ben Nye’s request to by watchful for the type of transactions that shows someone reselling their products. Please limit your purchases of Ben Nye products to a maximum of six per item. If you would like to order more – please email us and let us know why you are ordering in quantity.

We can not ship any Kryolan products outside of North America.

Kryolan is a Distributor Protected Brand. This means that the distributors and the people they sell to within that country have all selling rights within the country they have the distributorship for. Fraud & Security Alerts


Spam emails saying your package was delivered going out to public. The USPS has alerted the community through their site that spam emails are going out to people saying their package was delivered.

PLEASE - only use the tracking info sent from to track your package from us or contact us to track your package for you.

Credit Card Fraud Detection Enhanced on

We have recently added a strong fraud detection suite to our credit card processing and it has much more robust filters than we previously used. With the rise of internet fraud becoming more and more prevalent and especially during the holidays, we have found it necessary to be very vigilent in the cards being processes through our site.

We realize that our customers do have reasons to have different billing and shipping - but we do suggest the best practice is to have the order shipped to the billing address to avoid a potential delay or decline of your transaction.

If you do need your package shipped to another address, please contact customer service, we may request additional information from the credit card holder in order to process the order.
