Antonia's Flowers~
I wish I could be Antonia and make lots of perfume with lots of flowers.
Harder to find but worth it. Price range $45. Not available in our

Alpha Hydrox~
Cleansing line based on the Alpha-Hydroxy Theory. Not the highest
quality I've seen, but if you are stuck with out a good cleanser,
use this. You can usually find it your local drug store. Price range

Arbonne~
Mix a little Avon with a little natural idealogy, and Arbonne is born.
Some nice products in this line - masks and things like that. My favorite
is the Herbal Foot Crème. Nice. Price range $6.50-35. Not available

Ardell~
Ardell means Eyelash Central. So many styles, strips, individual,
tips, uppers, lowers. Keep looking here for more and more and more

Aroma Naturals~
Some of the best candles I have found, and believe me - I am a candle
freak. I like natural oils vs. synthetic and Aroma Naturals are some
of the cleanest. A bit more than the grocery store, sweet type but
worth the difference. Price range $20 (for 6x6). Available here in

Aroma Vera~
Essential oils & infusers whose purity levels seem quite good. Available
at Beauty Suppliers and Salons. Price range $15. Not available in

Art Anthony Creations~
Special Effects Artists and Students, this artist, originally from
Chicago, has changed the industry standard for SPFX cuts and wounds,
from using wax to using his new Silicone Flesh Putty. It doesn't heat
up and move like wax. Much more stable, too, and can be colored intrinsically.
His Pax Attax cannot be kept in stock. Price range $35-50. Available

Judith August Cosmetics~
Artist to the stars brings out some unique items, like her Everything
Pencil and the Zitt Zapper. The Pencil has camouflage ability that
stays. Available at Salons and high end Beauty Suppliers. Price range

Aveda~
Started with a concept this multi company has launched stores around
the country that stock their make up. Their Chakra display is quite
original and still you can smell that this company is doing quite

Avon~
The original door to door cosmetic marketing company actually has
quite a nice chunk of the market. Their products may not be very original,
but they do produce a large array of cosmetics to address the varied

Benefit~
Line of a different color. Offers unique and ergonomic make up that
actually does something! Favorite things Oooh-la-Lift and Bene-tint.

Bloom~
Little Australian line that is making it Big Time in the U.S. with
their lip balms and lotions. Available at Saks Fifth Avenue, Kiss

Body Drench~
Super rich without feeling greasy, this line does not feel heavy.
They have a moisturizing Body Bath which is a body cream that lathers.
Also for summer - Liquid Velvet Talc that dries to a powder. Great

Borghese~
Classic Italian themed line. Very rich - known for jewel tones. Newer
campaigns reflect a decision to try for a lighter, younger appeal.
Always different, they had Fango and wild skin products way before

Burt's Bees~
What a great concept - beeswax, royal bee jelly cremes and honey sweet
smells. Love this line, especially the Carrot Nutritive Creme. It
smells like you could eat it. All of the products with beeswax can
be extended with water. Saves money and creates a lighter crème for

The tools of the trade, we offer over 100, yes 100 different styles

Little Beauty Supply line that makes quite nice lipsticks and lip

Cinema Secrets~
Professional foundations sold mostly in high end Beauty Suppliers
and in Los Angeles at the Cinema Secrets store. The crème is a high

Charles of the Ritz~
Classic line that is getting harder and harder to find. We can get
some harder to find items here at Make Up Mania. Price range $20-40.
Coty~
Drugstore line, original fragrances. Coty is revamping their image
and doing new campaigns to capture a younger market. Available though
drug stores. Price range $6-15. Not available through our Custom Shopping

Custom Color Cosmetics~
Developed by Mr. William Tuttle. His career spanned over 50 years
in Hollywood and he has probably done many of the TV shows you grew
up with (not to mention films). His foundations colors are moisturizing
and look great for tv artists and women of color. His translucent
powder is a standard in so many Hollywood kits. Finely ground works
on most skin tones. Price range $15. Appliance foundations available

Custom Blending~
Make Up Mania does it again! We now offer custom blending for all
your discontinued favorites. See the Glamour Make Up Floor to see

Dark & Lovely~
Crème to Powder Foundation for African American Skin Tones. Harder
to find, but mostly in drug stores. New lines have silvers and frosts
that look great and don't go ashy. Price range $4.95-8.95. Available

Dermablend~
This department store brand camouflage cream use to be pretty easy
to find at Penny's and Sears, even upper end department stores. Now
it is on QVC and hard to find it elsewhere. The stores aren't stocked
well in it and the sales people don't know the line well enough to
help you. Most yellow tones are not easily available. Price range

Decleor~
I wish I could say I tried this line, but I can't afford it - $140
for their lotion. I wish I could just smell it but the jars are in
hygenic pumps. Oh well! It has loads of sea botanicals and is available
at Neiman's and I can find it at Bloomingdales in L.A. Price range
$100. and up. Available through our Custom Shopping Program.
Dermacolor~
Camouflage-, paramedical- and heavy-concealor-use make up. Completely
opaque. Available in hundreds of colors can be blended. Their setting
powder doesn't change the tone. Price range $15-30. Available here

Dinair-
The original airbrush make up. You've heard of the Sport's Illustrated
Swimsuit paint. This is who did it. Price range $30-100. Available

Eva's Esthetic's~
This is not my line, but another Eva and she has been devoted to skin
care for over half a century. And not that you would know by looking
at her! Her skin is so beautiful and when I went their for training,
all the women who had used this line looked amazing! It is the most
effective product I have ever used. And my problematic skin was changed
because of it. The Green Line is for problem, impure skin. Highest
and purest concentration of Glycolic Acid on the market.

Thank God MAC came around and turned the cosmetic industry on their
heels. Since they changed the rules by opening the Boutiques first,
getting their make up into the artists kits, and then getting bought
into high end department stores, lots of great new start-ups have
followed suite. Now we have more make up to choose from than ever
before. Thanks you guys! Available at Saks Fifth Ave (John in the
Beverly Hills store is my favorite salesperson for MAC), Nordstroms,
some Macy's and of course their Industry Stores. Their web site is
