Make Up Mania loves Moms! After all, who was responsible for raising all the Make Up Maniacs in the world?! So, for Mother's Day we had a contest for our mom-subscribers, asking them to send photos of them with their "little ones" and to tell us what's the best thing about being a mom. The prizes are Burt's Bees Baby Bee Getting Started Kits. Here, with their permission, are the photos & answers from the winners...

Make Up Mama Michelle has a 10 month old daughter, Danielle Rae. Michelle wrote us a long, touching letter with a quote she had read, "A child fills a special place inside your heart... a place you never knew was empty". Her two best reason for being a mom are: "1. To provide positive guidance to my child's life. 2. To teach my child to strive to be the best human being that she/he can."

Amy has been a long-time Make Up Maniac who convinced her mom, Donna (on the left) to send us a submission. The photo also includes Amy's grandmother, Audrey. Donna writes, "I have a beautiful and intelligent daughter that lights up my world every day; and I have a mother who never stops enlightening me with her patience, love, and perserverance. She is my world."

Athena is an aspiring make up artist & mother. Pictured to the left with her daughter Makayla Maven, Athena wrote, "The best thing about being a mother is the child; he/she is your heart, spirit, and soul, escaped from your body, clad in diapers, and swaggering around the place, since they own it, after all. The joy and love you experience in one quick glance or thought of your child is incomparable to the now mundane emotions you used to know in pre-maternal life. Being a mother makes you an entirely new creature. "
